Company background

January 1961	Ryohei Aiko (President), Sadamo Yoda (Managing Director) and 3 other employee founded company to design, manufacture and sell the machine. Company was located at 3-323, Yutaka-Cho, Shinagawa-Ku, Tokyo.
May 1964	Moved to Kugahara, Ota-Ku, Tokyo. Employee became 20 people and developed Business Forms Press, Business Forms Collator and many kinds machines.
May 1967	May 1967 Built new office at 4-3-5, Omori-Nishi, Ota-Ku, Tokyo.
June 1970	Opened Osaka office at 1-11-12, Omiya, Asahi-Ku, Osaka city.
October 1975	Built new plant at 1-17-22, Omori-Nishi, Ota-Ku, Tokyo.
October 1979	Osaka office moved to 3-4-11, Kigawa Higashi, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka city.
August 1984	Built new plant in Yamagata.
April 1986	Completed 2nd stage of additional for Yamagata plant.
July 1989	Built TS center (service center) in Tokyo.
March 1990	Completed 3rd stage of additional for Yamagata plant.
February 1991	The founder-President, Ryohei Aiko passed away.
February 1991	Sadamo Yoda was inaugurated as chairman. Takeo Igarashi was inaugurated as president.
April 1991	Yamagata plant became a mass production base.
October 1995	Founded a joint company Shanghai Xinmin Taiyo Kikai Co., Ltd.

February 2001	Tokyo plant received award as excellent factory from the chief of a Tokyo Ota ward.

September 2004	Established Taiyo EB Tech, Inc and started business for electric beam process.
November 2004	Mr. Awai nominated as new executive president.
November 2008	New plant was completed in Shanghai.
September 2011	ISO14001 certified.
October 2011	Taiyo Mecha-Tech Ltd. was established, started manufacturing of cutting and grinding.
November 2011	Mr. Okakura nominated as new executive president.
May 2013	TAIYO made the work partnership with Chinese printing press maker WEIGANG.
